Breathe - don’t battle.

You know the feeling... anger. Blood rushing to your head, a tingling in your fingertips, a tightness in your chest. Your body is preparing you for an anticipated argument. But consider the possibility of a different outcome - if only you could stop and take a beat - a deep breath, softening your shoulders relaxing your stomach. All it takes is awareness. So when you feel your body prep for battle, remind yourself to take a beat and simply engage in a conversation. This will lead to way fewer regrets and, most likely, a bit more pride and confidence in YOU!
